Mammoth WVH to perform at Empire Live

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Empire Live in Albany announced they will be hosting a performance by rock band Mammoth WVH. The show is scheduled for March 10, 2024. Get the latest news, weather, sports and more delivered right to your inbox! The band is fronted by guitarist and vocalist Wolfgang Van Halen, who is the son of legendary rocker Eddie Van Halen. The group is best known for their songs "Don't Back Down", "Distance" and "Another Celebration at the End of the World". Mammoth WVH will be joined for the performance by rock guitar virtuoso Nita Strauss. The show is set to begin at 8 p.m. Styx and Foreigner to perform at SPAC Empire Live is located at 93 North Pearl Street. You can buy Mammoth WVH tickets online through the Ticketmaster website.

Public Square receives funding for renovations

HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Public Square, also known as 7th Street Park, in Hudson is receiving $500,000 from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The funding will be used for renovations, including fixing the cracked foundation, sidewalks, and benches and improving lighting. I-70 westbound closed at Golden, diverted to C-470 after oversized load hits bridge

Riverside County foster mom again faces murder charge

A Riverside County woman who ran a foster home for disabled children is again facing a murder charge after it was initially dismissed a year and a half ago.Michelle Louise Morris-Kerin, 82, and her husband, Edward Lawrence Kerin, 81, of Morris Small Family Home were arraigned again on Thursday in Riverside County, and both pleaded not guilty, according to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.The couple faced about two dozen combined charges, including murder, manslaughter, lewd acts on dependent adults and child endangerment, among other felonies, after their 2021 arrests.
