SELKIRK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Bethlehem Police Department announced on Sunday that Richard Ryther, 71, who had been reported missing out of Selkirk, has been found dead. Police say Ryther's death does not appear suspicious. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Police located Ryther's body on November 26 in a wooded area near 822 River Road in Glenmont. He had last been seen near his home on River Road around 2 p.m. on Friday. PATCH, Mo – A St. Louis resident was discovered deceased in a house fire in the 7900 block of Water. The victim remains unidentified.On November 25, at 8:30 a.m., St. Louis officers responded to a house fire after a request from the Fire Department. The victim was found inside the structure by firefighters. (KRON) – The Concord Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred outside of a restaurant on Saturday. A man and a woman got into an altercation with another man at Yard House in the Veranda Shopping Center on Nov. 25. The altercation led to the woman pepper-spraying a man in front of the restaurant. Arrest led to suspect kicking officer in the face in San Rafael The incident occurred right outside the restaurant's doors and people inside the restaurant were still exposed, according to Concord PD. Restaurant patrons and employees were treated at the scene. (KRON) – The Pinole Police Department arrested one person in possession of a gun, cash, and for-sale marijuana on Saturday. 5-year-old girl who was swept out to sea in Half Moon Bay rescued Pinole officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Highway 80 on Nov. 25. According to police, during a search of the vehicle, officers found a loaded semi-automatic pistol under the front passenger seat with a fully loaded extended magazine.The officers say they also found cash and marijuana. ATHENS, Greece (AP) — A cargo ship sank off the Greek island of Lesbos in stormy seas early Sunday, leaving one crew member dead, 12 missing and one rescued, authorities said. The Raptor, registered in Comoros, was on its way to Istanbul from Alexandria, Egypt, carrying 6,000 tons of salt, the coast guard said. It had a crew of 14, including eight Egyptians, four Indians and two Syrians, the coast guard said.The ship reported a mechanical problem at 7 a.m. Sunday, sent a distress signal at 8:20 a.m. and shortly after disappeared about 4 1/2 nautical miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Lesbos, authorities said.A dead crew member was retrieved Sunday afternoon and was transported to Lesbos. THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Greek police have arrested six people who they say are members of a large human trafficking gang that violently extorted money from migrants to assist them in crossing into neighboring Albania and travel to European Union countries to the north.The six suspects — a Syrian, a Palestinian and four Iraqis — were arrested Saturday at a village less than 10 kilometers (six miles) from the Albanian border, police said Sunday.Seven more members of the gang were arrested in the same area on Sept. 28. At that time, 11 migrants had been found detained in shacks and abandoned military outposts.Police had said in September that the traffickers, who had already collected upwards of 1,000 euros (nearly $1,100) from each of the migrants to help them cross into Albania, had detained them, demanding an additional 1,500 euros ($1,640).
