ST. LOUIS - A Breckenridge Hills man was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison for a 2019 high-speed crash that claimed the life of a woman in his vehicle.According to a statement from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office, Donnell Fisher, 33, was set to go on trial this week. However, he pleaded guilty last Friday to first-degree involuntary manslaughter.Fisher admitted that his wreckless driving caused the death of Rebecca Sanders of Alton, Illinois. Sanders was 29. St. Louis County man charged after crashing truck near the White House The crash occurred on Dec. 19, 2019, in the 6000 block of West Florissant Avenue.Police said Fisher was speeding on the road, which had been covered in snow and ice, when he went off the roadway and struck a tree. The parents of 22-year-old Christian Glass want the record-setting $19 million settlement over their son’s shooting death by a Clear Creek County Sheriff’s deputy to send a strong message to law enforcement across the country.Officers cannot shoot someone just because they are frustrated or angry or impatient, Simon and Sally Glass told The Denver Post Tuesday afternoon in an interview. A 37-year-old man from Fort Collins was rescued Sunday night from Rocky Mountain National Park after he fell while rock climbing.According to a news release, park rangers received word Sunday afternoon that the climber had been injured after a roughly 30-foot roped fall in a mixed route on Taylor Peak.
