A Colorado web designer who the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday could refuse to make wedding websites for gay couples cited a request from a man who says he never asked to work with her.The request in dispute, from a person identified as “Stewart,” wasn’t the basis for the federal lawsuit filed preemptively seven years ago by web designer Lorie Smith, before she started making wedding websites.But as the case advanced, it was referenced by her attorneys when lawyers for the state of Colorado pressed Smith on whether she had sufficient grounds to sue.The revelation distracts from Smith’s victory at a time when she might have been basking in her win in 303 Creative LLC v. PITTSBURG — Two people died Friday night after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 4 near Bay Point, according to the California Highway Patrol.The crash happened about 8:15 p.m. in the eastbound direction at the Bailey Road exit, the CHP said. Both people were ejected from a GMC pickup truck after the vehicle collided into a Volkswagen sedan, veered off the roadway and overturned.Both of the occupants of the GMC were taken to a hospital but succumbed to their injuries, CHP said. It’s unclear if either of the two people was wearing a seatbelt.All eastbound lanes near Bailey Road were temporarily closed after the collision, but were reopened by 11:30 p.m.The Contra Costa County coroner’s office has not yet released the names of the people who died. As a result, Twitter users with verified accounts are able to read 6,000 posts per day, while unverified accounts are limited reading to 600 posts a day. Newly created accounts that are unverified are also faced with the limit, those users are only able to read 300 posts each day, according to Musk.
