Missing 20-year-old last seen in San Jose, considered at-risk (KRON) -- San Jose police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing at-risk person. Dara Olumi, 20, was last seen on Thursday at 5 p.m. walking on Avalon Drive in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department said on X. 3 hospitalized, including toddler, after fatal crash on Highway 152 near Gilroy Olumi is described to be 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with stubble/unshaven facial hair, along with two bald spots on the back of head. He was last seen wearing green cotton shorts, a light-colored t-shirt and a light-brown blanket on his shoulders, according to SJPD. SJPD says anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the department at 408-277-8900 or call 9-1-1.

San Jose man charged with homicide in connection to woman's death (KRON) -- A San Jose man who was already in custody in Santa Clara County Jail has been charged with homicide in connection to a woman who was killed earlier this month, the San Jose Police Department said. On Dec. 2 at approximately 5:16 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 900 block of Thelma Way on a report of a possible deceased person. Robbers are following shoppers home, Alameda police say Arriving at the scene, officers found a woman with obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead, police said.SJPD homicide detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation. Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ray Garcia, 28, of San Jose as the suspect.Garcia, who was already in custody, was charged on Dec. 22. This was the city's 31st homicide of 2023, SJPD said.

CSP seeking suspect in deadly Loveland hit-and-run scooter crash DENVER (KDVR) -- The Colorado State Patrol is asking the public for help in a deadly hit-and-run investigation.Thursday, Dec. 21, around 7 p.m., a single rider on an electric scooter was traveling westbound on East 58th Avenue, according to CSP. Driver wanted in Fort Collins hit-and-run that killed scooter rider When turning left onto Logan Court, CSP said he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on 58th Avenue.The rider, a 28-year-old from Northglenn, was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. CSP said the vehicle involved fled the scene of the crash.Now, CSP is looking for a 2004-2009 white Subaru Legacy Outback, with damage on the front left side of the hood and possibly the windshield. Local driver describes moment falling object shattered windshield on Storrow Drive A local driver shared his story Friday after he said a large metal object shattered his windshield on Storrow Drive in Boston. Speaking with 7NEWS, Frank Lucas said he was driving home from an appointment and crossing under a bridge near Massachusetts Avenue when the object fell from above late Friday morning. “The projectile came straight down,” he said. “So, I never saw anything flying.”Lucas said he called 911.
