Tragic Two-Car Crash on Milner Road near Highland Avenue Results in One Fatality and Three HospitalizationsLOS ANGELES, CA (September 22, 2023) – In the early hours of Thursday morning, a devastating two-vehicle crash on Milner Road left one individual deceased and three others injured. Law enforcement promptly responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 2:21 a.m. in the 6800 block of Milner Road, near Highland Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered the wreckage of two vehicles, each with occupants inside. Tragically, the responding fire units declared one of the individuals deceased at the crash site. Meanwhile, emergency personnel rushed three other victims, comprising two women and one man, to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Three suspects were arrested in connection to a series of organized retail thefts of businesses across the Bay Area, the San Francisco Police Department announced on social media Friday. Authorities neither specified when the arrests were made nor where the victim businesses were located. A suspect vehicle linked to the grand theft was discovered by police. A dark-colored Kia contained some of the stolen merchandise, according to SFPD. (KRON) -- A Monterey County daycare employee is facing a year behind bars for injuring a 2-year-old boy, prosecutors said Friday.Christine Marie Aiello, 61, pleaded no contest to felony child abuse. Investigators said Aiello assaulted the toddler at Miss Barbara’s Child Care Center in Marina.The case was reported to police after the toddler returned home from daycare with newscratches and scrapes. He told both his mother and teacher that Aiello, who worked at thedaycare but was not his assigned teacher, had hurt him on May 25, according to the District Attorney's Office.The Marina Police Department launched an investigation and found surveillance video. "Video surveillance showed Aiello dragging two-year-old John Doe into a classroom and repeatedly throwing him down onto a sleeping mat. She also attempted to hold him down on the mat using a chair," the District Attorney's Office wrote.
